The place of thunder ! plus the colloquial term used by locals is “Bra”. Two fast facts for Maroubra before you launch into this prime area of Sydney ! No doubt some mixed loved for this beach loved suburb. Big praise to National parks Australia for preserving Malabar Headland, head down to Magic point for some time out from the hustle and bustle.

Wind yourself down through Malabar Rd, and it is evident where the best spots are when scanning your eyes toward Marine Parade. Arthur Byrne Reserve flows nicely into the beach boulevard. Watch the surfers grab prime position in their next wave break or dip into Mahon pool. Beer, wine, coffee or food, no problem, plenty of options here.

Balance you budget wisely and find your next home in this pocket, Storey St, Nevorie Cres, Gale Rd, Mason St, Boyce Rd and Glanfield. Find something new, old or renovated. Most blocks are North to South, and shape park is to the north ready to kick or throw the ball around. Maybe take the pets for a walk too.
